A driver in a Hyundai Elantra with license plate 225 LJF had a sign on the back of his car wishing harm on Californians caught on the fires.
While natural disasters often bring out the best in humanity in helping their fellow man, they often also bring out the worst in a few.
Presumed Las Vegas, NV resident, and TikTok user @TheBossFrost12 recently shared a disturbing video of a driver in a blue Hyundai Elantra (License plate 225 LFJ) with a sign taped to the back of his Elantra that literally wished random Californians, whom he doesn’t know, harm. that they would perish in the ongoing Southern California fires.
Check out his TikTok video embedded below with his original post linked here.
The incident took place at the intersection of W Desert Inn and Fort Apache Rd in Las Vegas (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)
As the video shows, @TheBossFrost12 focuses his camera on the sign taped to the back of this blue Hyundai.
“Look at the sign on this dude’s car,” OP says to his camera.
“It says f*** California. May they all burn to dea**.”
He then rolls up next to the driver and asks, “That’s how you feel?”
“Abso-f***ing-lutely. Put it on TikTok, baby.” he responds.
The jerk of a driver then turns away and looks forward.
TikTok users did not pull punches in the comments.
“Californians don’t care what a broke Republican driving a Hyundai with the check engine light on thinks. 😂😂😂,” the top comment read.
Elantras of this year can be found on CarFax for around $5,000.
“I’m sure he’s a MAGA Christian,” another top comment read.
“Who wakes up with that much anger in their heart?? Like I don’t understand😭,” another TikTok user wondered.
As his sign isn’t obstructing his rear vision nor is it against any 1st amendment laws that prohibit low-level but blatant and random hate, it appears this man isn’t breaking any laws.
Regardless, it’s mean-spirited, trashy, and a reflection of what kind of person this man is.
And to those who I’ve seen online claiming no one’s wishing harm to Californians, here’s exhibit A.
