A yield sign was installed on Anneewakee Rd for this exact reason, a sign this idiot ignored.

Motorcyclist and Redditor /u/M0nk3yDLufffy shared headshaking motorcycle cam footage from earlier in July (July 7, 2025) to the /r/IdiotsInCars subreddit showing a clueless driver in a Toyota swinging wide onto Highway 92 from Anneewakee without yielding and despite having a red, almost causing a multi-vehicle accident.

Check out the helmetcam footage below with the original Reddit thread linked here.

The incident happened at the intersection of GA-92 and Anneewakee (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)

As OP’s helmetcam shows, he’s riding along Highway 92 towards the aforementioned intersection.

Suddenly, a driver in a black Toyota Yaris turns right and heads for the far left lane of GA-92 without so much as the slightest yield or signs of slowing down.

Thankfully, traffic already in that lane and OP in the next lane slowed in time to avoid what would’ve been an inevitable collision.

Yes, Georgia allows right on red, but not before stopping and yielding to traffic with he right of way.

And yes, there is a yield sign there if the rules of the road aren’t obvious.

Yield sign installed in the first half of 2022.

“Do people who do this s*** realize that other people are the only reason they’re not always getting in accidents? Like, do they think they’re good drivers and other people are just too stupid to drive aggressively and take what they want?” the top comment from /u/GrweenZebra23 reads.

“I freaking loathe people that do that crap. If I had to judge a persons character by the way they drive we’re all damned!!!!,” /u/mizilks confirms.

“My bet is that they looked quick and thought the right lane was clear, then they realized after turning, there was a bike coming, so they opted for the left lane,” /u/Go_Gators_4Ever wondered.

“This crap happens when right turn takers do NOT come to a complete stop and ensure the way is clear before entering the intersection. BTW – also ensure no pedestrian is crossing!!”

In Georgia, failure to yield is often subject to a base fine of at least $150 before all the fees and 3 points on your record.

  1. Looks like they all were going above the speed limit in this area. The whole county has some of the rudest and inconsiderate drivers. Yes, that right yielded driver is typical of the drivers here. And don’t try to move over a lane and expect courtesy from residents here! So no surprise this happened.

  2. It amazes me that I have to figure out what the other drivers want to do!
Georgia drivers do not signal for nothing ,
Are you going “ left or right”
They park in front of “no parking signs”
There is no traffic control officer,
I believe every time you renew your registration you should take a test about the traffic rules,
You do not rule the road obey the traffic laws iidiots
