This woman had the gall to yell at this dashcam owner after clearly being in the wrong.

Wahentaw County commuter /u/SpritePotatoYo shared headshaking dashcam footage from this Ypsilanti roundabout from earlier last week (July 29, 2025) to the /r/IdiotsInCars subreddit showing a driver failing to yield to OP, then having the you know what’s to yell at them.

Check out the dashcam footage for yourself below, with the original Reddit thread linked here.

As mentioned, the near miss happened at the roundabout located at the intersection of Hitchingham Rd. and Textile Rd. (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)

In the footage, OP enters the single-lane roundabout first.

Already in the roundabout, a driver in a Red Honda CR-V off Textile Rd approaches off Textile and fails to yield to OP, entering just as OP tries to drive by them.

The rules are clear: those entering the roundabout must yield to drivers already in it.

Both brake at the last second to avoid hitting each other.

Thankfully, neither does.

Instead of recognizing she was in the wrong, the lady in the CR-V doubles down on her ineptitude and can be seen yelling at OP through her driver’s side window.

To top it all off, she completes her traffic infraction by going in front of OP.

And here’s her POV before she entered. Two big yield signs stared her right in the face.

Yield signs at the roundabout from Textile Rd entering Hitchingham Rd.

“YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO TAKE YOUR TURN. IT’S MY TURN. I’ve had the pleasure of encountering an absolute lovely driver with the same attitude,” the top comment from /u/Torak31 reads.

“It’s OK, when she causes an accident in the same spot leaving her house tomorrow, the cop will explain it to her,” /u/actorsspace added.

“This would bother me to no end. The indignation when she just blew past a yield sign,” /u/Malkmus1979 points out.

In Michigan, failure to yield is a traffic infraction punishable by a fine up to $128 and two points on your record.
