Brodozer risks $200+ fine and two points blasting through a red light to essentially not save any time at all.

Montgomery County commuter and Redditor /u/AntoFuzz shared headshaking dashcam footage from earlier last week (July 29, 2025) to the /r/IdiotsInCars subreddit showing a brodozer in his lifted truck blow through this red light to essentially save no time at all.

Check out the harebrained move below with the original Reddit thread linked here.

The incident happened in Moraine at the intersection of East River Rd. and Dryden Rd (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)

As the dashcam shows, OP pulls up behind a driver in a black lifted truck on East River.

With their light still red, the driver in the lifted truck guns it, turning anyway.

According to OP, moments after the video ends, their turn light turns green, so, in short, the brodozer risked a potential crash and ticket to save no time at all.

As Moraine is Small Town USA, this person likely gets away with this type of behaviour often.

With wide views onto Dryden on either side, it’s easy to see why blowing through this intersection is tempting.

Here’s the L and R view of Dryden.

With clear views on either side, it’s tempting to blast through this intersection.

“But for just one second there, his microp**** felt slightly bigger,” /u/Word1_Word2_4Numbers humorously commented.

Perhaps, 99 times out of 100, they’ll get away with it, but it only takes one wrong red light blast to go horribly wrong.

Even in this “successful” time-saving attempt, you can see a driver in a Ford F-150 follow shortly after.

And, with lifted suspension and larger wheels and tires, the stopping distance of their truck seriously increased.

Red light violations in Ohio carry a fine of $150 before all the fees and 2 points on your record.
