This driver is the personification of ” I turn now. Good luck, everybody.”

Verde Valley resident and Redditor /u/Ok_Resolution_5397 shared some headshaking dashcam footage from last month (July 13, 2025) to the /r/MildlyBadDrivers subreddit from County Rd 30 showing a driver carelessly merging back onto said road without bothering to yield for through traffic.

Check out their bonehead driving move below with the original Reddit thread linked here.

The incident happened on E Cornville Rd, AKA County Road 30, as drivers passed by the Conoco and El Patio Bar & Grill (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)

As OP’s dashcam video shows, they’re making their way down County Rd. 30 going a reasonable 40-ish MPH.

As he approaches the Conoco, a driver in a silver PT Cruiser can be seen approaching the driveway exit.

“…this was a middle-aged woman with a child in her backseat,” OP clarified.

You’d assume they’d stop like a normal driver, but no, this driver keeps on going, failing to yield to through traffic, OP included, with the right of way.

Thankfully, there’s no traffic nearby coming the other way, so OP’s able to swerve left out of the way.

“I was debating on if I really needed one (a dash cam) for a while, being that living in the Verde Valley it’s pretty rural and not as many chances for car crashes, but decided to play it safe and get one…It’s nice knowing you have documented proof in case someone tries turning an accident that wasn’t your fault on you,” OP replied to a comment about having a dashcam in general.

“They are just clueless that other people exist. Didn’t even bother to look,” the top comment from MNGrow612 reads.

“Typical PT Cruiser behavior,” /u/Crazy-Astronomer humously added.

ARS § 28-774 says drivers entering a roadway must yield to vehicles already on the highway.

Violators can expect to receive a $235 fine before all the fees.
