Yielding to traffic with the right of way is not in this driver’s vocabulary.
TX-183 commuter and Redditor /u/panda-moto shared headshaking dashcam footage from earlier in August (Aug 15, 2025) to the /r/IdiotsInCars subreddit showing a driver in a Ram pickup brute forcing his way across a gore point into the far right lane, cutting off this dashcammer in the process.
Check out their entitled move in the embedded video below with the original Reddit thread linked here.
The incident happened on TX183 as drivers approached the exit onto FAA Rd Grand Prairie Arlington TX-360 (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)
As the dashcam footage shows, OP is merging onto TX-360 from N Main St.
As he approaches traffic already on the highway, a driver in a Ram 1500, fed up with slower traffic in front of him, decides to overtake on the right, but that means cutting over a gore point, a part of the highway that vehicles legally can’t drive through.
The Ram 1500 driver cuts OP off, causing OP to slam on his brakes to avoid a collision.
Taking offense at the now bumper-riding OP, the Ram 1500 driver throws in a brake check because, of course, he would.
Wanting to get away from the situation, OP accelerates and passes the Ram 1500 driver.

“A Ram pickup driver. What a surprise,” one of the top comments from /u/SignificantDrawer374 reads.
“Sometimes I just want to press the accelerator, but then the dash cam would rat me out,” /u/realAtheling fantasized.
“I’ve lost some patience for people like this, too. I don’t blame you, /u/Constant-Bake-760 empathized.
A gore point violation is a ticketable offense resulting in a fine of up to $180 before all the fees and depending on what county of Texas you’re in.
Brake checking is a form of reckless driving, with violators in Texas subject to a $200 base fine and/or up to 30 days in jail.
