The truck belongs to Anaheim-based “Coast Sign Incorporated.”

Los Angeles County commuter and Redditor /u/Turbulent_Swan_7831 shared headshaking dashcam footage from Gardena from earlier in August (Aug 20, 2025) showing a careless driver in a company truck running a red light a good five seconds after he was supposed to stop.

Check out their dashcam footage linked below with the original Reddit thread linked here.

The incident happened at the intersection of Redondo Beach Boulevard and the on-ramp/off-ramp to the 110 (exact location on Google Maps linked here).

As the dashcam footage shows, OP is stopped at the aforementioned intersection, waiting for his turn to go.

Their light eventually turns green; however, traffic turning in the next lane, OP included, takes a beat before crossing.

It’s a good thing they did because, after a good five seconds, the truck next to OP emergency brakes as a driver in a Coast Sign Incorporated flat bed truck comes barrelling through the intersection.

Had either that driver next to OP or OP not been driving defensively, that truck would’ve broadsided them, hard.

“Well, at least you know where to send this video… 🤷🏻‍♀️,” one of the top comments from /u/bobmcbobingtonthethi reads.

“Contact the company, report the idiot, I did,” /u/No-Cat_2980 added.

Several Redditors commented they’ve let Coast Sign Incorporated know about their bad driver through the company’s Contact Us page.

“You got great view of the truck’s company and number. Send it to DOT office, they will make it very expensive for ignoring the red light,” /u/Warcraft_Fan further suggested.

This is a great, but sobering example of why it’s important not to bolt out into an intersection even if it’s green to go.

Running a red light in California earns drivers a nearly $500 ticket after all the fees and one point on their driving record.
