A black Jeep Grand Cherokee was spotted on the 110 driving recklessly at a speed in excess of 90 MPH.

SoCal commuter and Redditor /u/WhatWouldMuirDo shared headshaking dashcam footage from earlier in October (Oct 5, 2025) to the /r/IdiotsInCars subreddit showing an absolute menace on the 110 in South LA driving recklessly in traffic at speeds approaching 100 MPH.

Check out this example of irresponsible and reckless driving below, with the original Reddit thread linked here.

The incident happened on the 110 in the South Los Angeles area, just before Inglewood and Exit 15 onto W Century Blvd (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)

As the dashcam shows, OP is driving in the fast lane of the 110 when his rear dashcam picks up a driver in a black Jeep Grand Cherokee, likely an SRT, barreling towards him at speeds that are about 90+ MPH.

It appears the driver is “swimming” or driving in and out of traffic at a high rate of speed, often for “clout.”

We see the Jeep Grand Cherokee cross over a solid white line meant to seperate two merging streams of traffic before the driver proceeded to make multiple consecutive lane changes, swerving left and right.

Thankfully, other traffic was more predictable, and no one was caught up in this Cherokee driver’s recklessness.

“There’s no excusing them for driving like they’re about to have spicy diarrhea any moment, but you are creating additional hazard by lane camping. People should not be passing you at all, much less from both sides while you obliviously chit chat.,” one of the top comments from /u/_avocadont reads.

Several of the top comments were from Redditors sharing the same left lane camping sentiment.

“About the “left lane camping” I’m getting hit with; the full video from my camera shows me passing 6 cars immediately to my right in the forty seconds leading up to this moment. I edited the video down for brevity’s sake, but now see the error of my ways in assuming people would see a jeep driver recklessly passing at excessive speeds as an idiot, and myself for using the passing lane for its purpose as the idiot,” OP replied, recognizing his mistake.

“I see this every day, sadly. Multiple times in a single trip. These people are just purposefully reckless,” /u/Purple_News_1213 added.

If this driver was really hitting 100+, those kinds of speeds may earn a driver a fine of up to $500 before fees, not to mention two points on their record and a possible 30-day license suspension.

With all the fees, a fine amount can reach up to $2,000+.
