Dashcam captures Jeep Wrangler driver cutting off dashcam owner and actively reversing into his front bumper.

154 commuter and Redditor /u/Al_Tilly_the_Bum shared headshaking dashcam footage from earlier in November (Nov 19, 2025) showing a Jeep Wrangler driver resorting to actual road rage, purposely ramming his vehicle into the bumper of this dashcam owner.

And, when he fled the scene, thinking he got away with it, the victim says he was found, arrested, and charged shortly after.

Check out the crazy dashcam footage below with the original Reddit thread linked here.

The incident happened on US-154/ Bangerter Highway just before the 200 West Exit (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)

As OP’s dashcam footage shows, he’s driving in Lane #2 when he suddenly has to slow down because of a vehicle jumping out from the last lane in front of him.

It’s a drastic slowdown, but nothing out of the ordinary.

A driver in a Jeep Wrangler must not have been following from a safe distance because presumably his sudden slowing down likely forced him to slam on his brakes, seemingly, without warning, too.

Peeved, the Wrangler driver swings around, purposely cuts OP off, and then slams on his brakes, the proverbial brake check.

If that wasn’t bad enough, the Wrangler driver takes his road rage from bad to worse and reverses, in earnest, to purposely ram into the front bumper of OP’s vehicle.

With a solid, body-on-frame construction, this Wrangler driver knows his steel bumper will do some serious damage to a normal unibody vehicle.

We hear the crunch sound of the steel rear bumper causing, likely, thousands in damage in body shop work, before the Wranger drivers shifts back into D and makes their escape.

OP does the smart, sensible thing and backs off, but not before making sure he’s got the owner’s plates on camera, T70 9UN.

This Wranger driver’s little revenge episode does end well…for them… as anyone with internet access and giving it the ol’ college try, armed with a plate number, not to mention the make and model of the vehicle, can locate the guilty party and then some.

“I provided the footage to Utah Highway Patrol. They arrested him a few days later. Since there was property damage, I got the driver’s insurance information, which included his name and address. Google search showed me his employer, and LinkedIn showed his title (Vice President of a local company.

“Utah passed really strict road rage enhancements last year. Cops are cracking down. He is a VP at a public company and will probably avoid any punishment, but I personally confirmed he was booked into county jail”

OP also confirmed he was hit with two big charges: fleeing the scene of an accident and reckless driving with road rage enhancement.

In Utah, fleeing the scene of an accident (hit‑and‑run) can be charged as a Class B misdemeanor (up to 6 months jail and up to ~$1,000 fine) for property damage, a Class A misdemeanor (up to 1 year jail and up to ~$1,000 fine) if someone is injured, or a third‑degree felony (up to 5 years and up to ~$5,000 fine) for serious injury/death.

A reckless driving conviction is a Class B misdemeanor with up to $1,000 in fines, possible jail time, and adds 80 points to your driving record. Under Utah’s road rage enhancement law, qualifying offenses can be elevated one level (e.g., Class B → Class A or to a felony) with mandatory extra fines (at least $750–$1,000) on top of the base penalties. Note: Specific fines/jail are subject to judge/court decisions and other fees/surcharges beyond these statutory maxima.
