This F-150 driver was so upset that this dash cam owner was going the speed limit, he threw a tantrum and actively blocked him from passing.

Lubbock County driver and Redditor /u/TexasTaxedToDeath shared an unhinged dashcam video from earlier last week (Dec 29, 2025) to the /r/IdiotsInCars subreddit showing a crazy driver in a Ford F-150 going out of their way to cut off and not allow this dashcam owner to pass, all because he drove the speed limit.

Check out the dashcam footage below with the original Reddit thread linked here.

The incident happened along the 289 Access Rd and continued onto 19th St (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)

As the dashcam shows, OP is driving along the W Loop 289 Access Road on a part of the road that merges with those exiting off of Loop 289.

A few hundred feet back, the Access Road narrowed from two lanes to one, so drivers are forced to file in front of or behind one another.

It’s worth noting that the speed limit in this area is 45 MPH.

As shown on the dashcam, OP was going exactly the speed limit.

A driver in a silver Ford F-150 was clearly not having any of this as they’re shown overtaking OP, cutting him off, and then proceeding to not let OP pass at all.

In other words, road rage. This driver was throwing a tantrum via road rage.

“I was driving at or just above the posted 45 MPH speed limit when the driver approached my vehicle from behind, blowing way past the speed limit. I was obviously going way too slow from his viewpoint. So he passed my vehicle and proceeded to put on a show,” OP clarified.

The existence of a dashcam seemed to knock some sense into the overstimulated, road-raging driver.

“He seemed to calm down at the end of the video. I kept pointing to a dashcam, and I’m sure he saw me doing so.”

Thankfully, nothing more came of the incident; however, it would behoove that driver to seek therapy.

“Wow, he sure showed you,” the top comment from /u/nfnjstt reads.

“I’ll never understand the guy in a hurry, all of a sudden wants to slow down or stop. You passed, keep f***ing going lol,” /u/otto_347 added.

“You should consider submitting a reckless driving complaint to the authorities,” /u/djasonpenney suggested.

In Lubbock, TX, road rage itself isn’t a separate offense, but aggressive driving behaviors like tailgating, cutting off other drivers, or reckless driving can result in fines up to $200 and/or jail time, while incidents involving threats, injury, or weapons can lead to felony charges with much higher penalties. Even misdemeanor citations can increase insurance rates and add points to your license. (Legal Beagle)
