Do you have $8K-$10K burning a hole in your pocket and can’t seem to hold all your papers down in your windy office. Boy, do we have the solution for you!

Exotics car owners who didn’t get on the list to buy a super-exclusive car cope in different ways. Some book a spa day while others go for a run. But thanks to the fine people at Amalgam collection, these once sad rich people rebuffed by McLaren can ease their pains while looking at their own McLaren Senna at 1/8th the size. Yup, almost anyone can purchase this 1:8 scale sized McLaren Senna if they’ve got $8K to spend. Check out some of the photos of this exquisite little model below.

There are three trim levels believe it or not. Limited edition gets you on the list for the original 1:8th scale handcrafted collector’s model. Jump up to Bespoke and for $1,200 more you can option your own paint color, upholstery color, wheel style, and caliper color. For an additional $1,200 you can have your way with whatever exterior and interior customization you want. Nyancat themed Senna? Why not?

Now, this isn’t any ordinary replica model. In due time, a handful of knockoffs from China and other South East Asian countries are sure to pop up, perhaps with replica sizes just as big. But none can probably match the level of detail these guys have put into theirs. According to Amalgam they’ve put in over 3,000 hours of development time which equates to 300 hours to build every single model. A far cry from the presumably minutes it will take a factory to pump out a machine-made model.

Senna’s not your thing? You’re in luck because they’ve got a handful of Ferrari’s and a few other cars in the works for 2018.

For average Joes like me, I could do a lot with $8,000. Buying a full-scale model of an exotic car I can’t have is definitely not on my list. Quite soberingly, for someone out there, this is a very reasonable buy.
