You know that McLaren Senna you’ve got in your garage? You can get tires delivered to your door from Tire Rack.

It might be a pain in the behind to get on the list for a McLaren Senna and actually getting one,  but sourcing new tires isn’t a problem, that for sure. According to some random clicking through Tire Rack earlier today (July 26, 2018) I discovered that they have tires ready for me to order for my McLaren Senna. Check out a screenshot of what the website looks like below.

You can buy tires for your McLaren Senna on Tire Rack

In all reality, no one who really owns one of 500 McLaren Senna’s is going to order tires for their McLaren Senna on Tire Rack but, you totally could. For one, although these are Pirelli’s, these are P Zero Corsa’s. While they’re good enough for the Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale, Lamborghini Gallardo and Porsche GT2 and GT3, they’re certainly not good enough for the McLaren Senna.

As per McLaren in their official press release of the Senna,

Tire choice is equally focused, with bespoke Pirelli P Zero™ Trofeo R tires developed in conjunction with McLaren technical partner, Pirelli. Designed for race tracks but approved for road use, they enable a McLaren Senna to be driven to a circuit. Only one style of wheel is available: an ultra-lightweight alloy wheel with a race-inspired center lock system.

Of course, the McLaren Senna isn’t sentient about what kind of tires are on its wheels and I reckon these P Zero Corsa’s on Tire Rack are 95 percent as good as those P Zero Trofeo’s but you’d probably be branded as a rogue Senna owner by the boys at Woking if they ever found out.

And it’s not that Tire Rack doesn’t carry P Zero Trofeo R’s because they do, it’s just that they don’t carry the extra wide 315/30/20’s.

Those P Zero Trofeo’s are probably way too soft for normal, everyday driving and would last only a couple thousand miles before you have to shell out a couple thousand for some new rubber.

So, if you’re a McLaren Senna driver out there in the United States and need tires for your hypercar, head on over to Tire Rack and drop $2,230.06 on a set. Don’t worry about shipping, at least that’s free.

Just an aside, this is in no way an endorsement for Tire Rack. I probably will never buy tires from them. I prefer getting a set of Federal 595s from my local tire shop down the street. I don’t have to wait and they mount them the next day.
