This Houston Car dealership, like so many others, now accepts bitcoin if you want to buy one of their luxury cars.

Post Oak Motors, purveyor of luxury Rolls-Royce’s, Bentley, and Bugatti’s announced earlier last week (Sept. 5, 2018) that, for the first time, they’re happy to accept Bitcoin, a cryoto-currency as payment for any of the vehicles they’re selling. By using the bitcoin processor BitPay, Post Oak Motors is able to cater to the clientele who prefers the ease and hassle free transaction experience that a cryptocurrency affords them, another advantage that this particular premium car dealership has over its competition.

“Being a premier luxury car dealer, I always want to offer my customers the very best buying experience and this partnership will allow anyone around the world to purchase our vehicles faster and easier.”

It doesn’t take a genius to understand that if you see your customers are more likely to buy from you if you accept bitcoin, you’re going to do everything within your ability, or, at the very least get someone who understands how to get it done to cater to their needs.

Bitcoin can be a bit daunting for the average consumer so take comfort knowing that if you’re an average consumer, there’s little reason to use bitcoin in the first place. But, if you’re the type of consumer whose budget includes buying $3 Million Bugatti Chiron, you’re probably going to be using bitcoin.

If you’re the proverbial average consumer like me, Investopedia put out a simple explanation as to the why of using bitcoin. For the merchant, Post Oak Motors, it would behoove any high-dollar merchant to accept bitcoin. For one, transaction fees are very little the higher the amount as it doesn’t matter how much is sent, rather fees are calculated based on the amount of data sent. Also, since chargebacks are non-existent in bitcoin, Post Oak Motors won’t suffer some malfeasance done by someone who wants to get out of paying by performing said chargeback.

For the shopper, transactions are much more simple when compared to traditional financing institutions. The lack of intermediaries between your money and the seller appeals to a lot of bitcoin users.

If you’re wondering, Post Oak Motors isn’t the only car dealership to accept bitcoin. Many regular car dealerships are.

But, if you’re hankering for a Rolls-Royce Phantom and want your transaction to go as smoothly as possible, just know that these guys in Houston will help you out.
