Heeltoe Automotive, based out of Forest Grove, Oregon announced that they’ve bought CT-Engineering’s Icebox intake division and will continue to make them.

It looks like the day before I posted an update that CT-Engineering was closed for good, it looks like Heeltoe Automotive already put out an announcement last week (Sept. 25,2018) informing fans of their services and CT-Engineering icebox intakes in general that those popular icebox intakes are still going to be made. Heeltoe Automotive bought all the molds from CT-Engineering for an undisclosed price and will continue to make them.

As you can see in the video above, Heeltoe Automotive is in the beginning phases of getting these popular intakes made as they can’t use previous suppliers.

Heeltoe Automotive reached out to me earlier last week saying pretty much what I just said but I’ll post verbatim what they’ve told me just to make it doubly official.

“…We have some good news though- Not sure if you follow our Facebook or Instagram, but we just announced that we have taken over CT Engineering’s intake division. We’ve been working on this for well over a month now, and we have just dropped off the tooling with our new plastic manufacturer so that these legendary parts can live on. “

A comment from Heeltoe Automotive was left on my earlier article but if you haven’t read that one yet, here’s the important part.

Induction manufacture for the 04-14 TSX, 09-14 TL, S2000, EG/EK/DC, and various other models (will continue.) Also taken over are short shifter products.

So, go ahead and tell all your friends that think these icebox intakes and short shifters aren’t going to be made anymore that they are in fact going to be made again shortly. You know there are going to be some people who’ll use CT-Engineering closing as an excuse to resell their old CT-Engineering icebox intakes and short-shifters for a premium. I’d like to not let that happen.

The best way to stay on top of their availability is probably to give any of Heeltoe Automotive’s social media accounts a follow. I’ve already linked their Instagram, and Facebook above. Additionally, you can keep an eye out on their website here.
