These are the latest images of the 2021 Honda Odyssey with mid-cycle refresh before its official debut later next year.

Fullsize van sales continue to fall month after month but that doesn’t mean manufactures are giving up, far from it. Vans bring in more than 100,000 sales per year, as far as Honda Odyssey, Toyota Sienna, Dodge Caravan, and Chrysler Pacifica are concerned.

It’s not a secret Honda is readying a mid-cycle refresh for its Odyssey next year. The latest spy photos from September show a loosely covered front end with a lightly camo’d rear. These latest photos show what the front end will mostly look like.

Be prepared to be perfectly whelmed.

First, here’s what’s been floating around the past couple of months.

And here’s the latest photos, this Odyssey presumably spotted on a Pittsburgh freeway.

Like any good Honda refresh, expect to see an updated front and rear end more in line with Honda’s lineup.

Comparing these latest photos with 2020’s front end, it looks like Honda’s tightened up the front end, functionally for aerodynamics but also further differentiating its looks from its Pilot, Passport and Ridgeline cousins ,whom all share significant architecture.

Outback, the rear bumper looks a bit trimmer and scuplted inwards, again, most likely for aerodynamics.

Rumors are abound that Honda will drop its Odyssey Hybrid next year but there’s hardly a shred of evidence pointing to that. Maybe Honda is faking us out with their camo and we’ve been looking at the Odyssey Hybrid all along.

Any large engine and transmission changes already happened with the 10-speed automatic standard across all Odyssey trim levels.

Expect Honda to unveil this refreshed Odyssey early first quarter of 2020.
