Suffice to say, the culprit will shell out a couple hundred for new tires.
TikTok user @Thats.mad.sus.police shared the brilliant way he got strangers from running over his newly planted baby trees to stop. By installing heavy-duty spikes a couple of feet apart in-line with his trees, anyone who attempted to pull this stunt off again were met with a loud hiss as they ran over the hidden spike, air escaping from their tires.
Check out his TikTok videos below showing what happened, how he installed his spikes, and the aftermath of his experiment.

TMSP says,
“My dad planted these trees and these people kept running over our trees so we planted these spikes all across them. Yesterday, they did it again, they done ran over all our trees. But this time we got all these spikes planted along here and we got em. You can see the rubber.“
His video shows a well-kept lawn in front of a sizeable rural house off a county road. Homeowners will typically install trees along the front of their yard, not only for aesthetic reasons, but to provide a bit of shade and security from traffic driving by.
Also, there’s nothing wrong with planting more trees.
Spaced out a couple of feet from each other, these spikes aren’t your ordinary hardware store spikes, these are thick and sharp enough to puncture a tractor tire.
The second video shows a set of security cameras installed along the fence-line, motion activated to catch the offending tree killer in action.
Commenters on his videos point out TMSP’s other videos showing off a Trump 2020 flag on his house as the reason this random person is running over his trees.
In response TMSP clarifies,
“I doubt it was because of the trump flag. He was running over the trees long before we hung up the trump flag.“
With over 3 million views on his first video and half a million and rising on the second one, people are invested in this storyline, mainly if his camera will catch the scofflaw in action.
