You can buy just one or 100 portable toilet seats.

Earlier this morning, I was scrolling through Facebook when I saw a good friend share a hilarious meme about his bathroom problems at work. The meme, embedded below, features a toilet seat you mount on your wheel and tire.

Naturally, I wondered if such a product actually exists and if I can buy one.

The answer is yes and yes.

According to OddityMall, this image has been circulating the internet since at least 2016 and, from time to time, like last year, picks up steam and gets popular again.

OddityMall shares how this tire mounted toilet is similar to the BumperDumper, a hitch-mounted toilet seat you slide into your car or truck’s tow hitch receiver.

The problem with the BumperDumper is it isn’t quite like the tire-mounted toilet seat of meme lore.

In addition, not all cars have tow hitches.

There’s also the inconvenience of the tow hitch height being slightly taller than your average sitting position, whereas the tire mounted one, heightwise, is just about perfect.

If you’re looking for an actual tire mounted toilet seat, I’ve found it online for you.

It’s made in China by the Qingdao SunSail Auto Accessories company, is affordably priced, and is available on Alibaba.com.

Click here to see the listing for yourself, and here’s a screenshot below.

For sale on AliBaba.com

As the listing shows, you can buy just one or, since Alibaba is more of a wholesale site, more than 300 pieces at a group discount.

The company illustrates in their demo video how you can use it with any ordinary plastic shopping bag, or, as the meme shows, sans anything to catch your, ehemm, business.

If you had any worries about the durability of this tire-mounted toilet seat, not to worry, as you can put your whole body weight into it without damaging the frame.

So strong you can jump up and down on it!

And if you’re any kind of handy, the listing’s conveniently showed you exactly how it’s constructed. A quick trip to Lowes for some mandrel bent tubing, a toilet seat, and some bolts, and I bet you can make one for yourself at a fraction of the price.

If you’re handy, you can make one of your own!

As I commented to my friend, if you actually buy one and plan to use it, it would behoove you to have some tire and wheel cleaner at the ready.

Especially after a night of Taco Bell and used without a plastic bag, let’s just say you might have to clean more than yourself afterwards.

A tire-mounted toilet seat, that portable solution between a real bathroom and just a hole in the ground, yours for less than $30.
