A grown adult male was caught on dashcam swerving in front of a car on purpose, almost getting hit on accident.
New Jersey resident and Redditor /u/JustinCapin shared head-shaking dashcam footage to the /r/IdiotsInCars subreddit from earlier this last week (Oct 8, 2024) from North Bergen showing a good-for-nothing cyclist swerving in front of his car on purpose, almost getting hit when he took his eyes off the road.
Check out his dashcam footage below.

The incident happened on the 6900 Block of John F. Kennedy Blvd in North Bergen (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)
As OP’s dashcam footage shows, he’s driving on his commute home along John F Kennedy Blvd when he admits he took his eyes off the road to reach for his coffee.
For no good reason, a grown a** adult male on a bike darts into traffic headed straight for OP’s car.
If you’re not aware, this is a popular and dumb trend where kids on bikes swerve in front of cars on purpose for internet clout.

The trend is global, reported in parts of the United Kingdom, too.
OP looks up at the last possible moment and avoids hitting the man on the bike within inches.
The man on the bike continues down John F. Kennedy Blvd, his undergarments are probably stained a different color from how close he came to getting hit.
“That cyclist has zero survival instinct. They’re going to get themselves pancaked with that attitude,” /u/appa-ate-momo commented.
“If I’m not mistaken, his “buddies” are on the right where he came from, and this was 100% intentional. Probably not getting hit but swerving at you was,” /u/DankRedPandoo concurred.
“Wow, the biker has more spokes than brain cells. I like how he continues on his merry way as if nothing happened,” /u/Dannyu2Sick added.
Thankfully, OP had a dashcam running.
Had he accidentally hit the cyclist, presumably, if he admitted partial fault, his insurance would find the footage helpful in possibly placing some of the fault on the grown a** man on a bike, too.
Hopefully, this convinces you to get a dashcam for yourself, too, if you already dont’ have one.
