Honestly, this is par for the course for a mid-00’s Infiniti G35 owner.

Another day, another Nissan/Infiniti driver acting a fool.

Roseville commuter and Redditor /u/Lazy_Manager_676 shared head-shaking dashcam footage from earlier at the end of February (Feb 28, 2025) showing a driver in an Infiniti G35 driving recklessly, trying to overtake on the right through an increasingly smaller gap, only to lose control, spin, and land in a ditch.

Check out the incriminating footage below with the original Reddit thread linked here.

The incident happened along the 2000 block of Baseline Rd in Roseville (exact location on Google Maps linked here.)

As the dashcam footage shows, OP is driving along Baseline when a driver in a black Infiniti can be heard approaching and pulling up beside him.

The Infiniti driver, wanting to get ahead (obviously), tries to overtake everyone, trying his luck on the right.

A driver in a white BMW sedan, probably on purpose, speeds up, closing the gap the Inifiniti driver has to overtake in front of him.

Well, the Infiniti driver does overtake the BMW but overcorrects, loses traction, and spins out of control.

The Infiniti driver lands in a ditch, damaging his ride and embarrassed.

Thankfully, he manages not to hit anything in the process.

“Yo, are you good? Alright, damn bro,” OP says to the embarrassed but reckless driver.

“Infiniti G35/Q50s always seem to be driven by absolute a**hats,” /u/tege0005 commented.

“Gotta love the way the white car kept going like nothing happened, lol,” /u/JohnnymacgkFL replied.

“That person is someone who only races on PlayStation and just realized cars don’t actually work that way,” /u/RICHS816 added.

This is arguably an example of an unsafe lane change.

In California, violators are subject to a $238 fine before all the fees plus one point on your record.
