Chaos ensues on the Keystone Parkway after an idiot driver refuses to miss their exit.

Indianapolis commuter and Redditor /u/Meuserj shared downright headshaking dashcam footage from the Keystone Parkway from earlier this week (Mar 11, 2025) showing an idiot driver in an Acura ILX refuse to miss their exit and opting to come to a complete stop in the left-most lane in order change multiple lanes to make the off-ramp.

Check out their poor and dangerous display of driving behavior below with the original Reddit thread linked here.

The incident happened in the 9000 block of N Keystone Ave on the Keystone Parkway just before the 96th St exit (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)

As OP’s dashcam footage shows, he’s driving along the Keystone Parkway, an arguable stroad with a 50 MPH speed limit, in the left-most lane.

Suddenly, he has to come to a complete stop thanks to an idiot driver in front of him in an Acura ILX who’s suddenly stopped to not miss their exit onto 96th St.

After waiting for traffic to clear, the driver quickly does a multi-lane change and exits.

Insane behaviour like this is to be avoided as it causes unpredictable driving behavior, a traffic occurrence that increases the risks of an accident or worse, a chain reaction accident in response to sudden, differing speeds.

“How dumb can she be? Incredible. The worst part is she did not learn a thing…she’ll continue to do this until she has an accident,” /u/IndependentBad6569 soberingly commented.

“I will never understand this mentality. I space out and miss my exit all the time. I take the next one, and I get where I’m going just the same. No need to endanger my life or the lives of dozens of others,” /u/ExsistenceNow logically added.

“This is so much worse than speeding,” /u/appa-ate-momo aptly put it.

In most states, this is tantamount to stopping or parking a vehicle on the highway for non-emergency reasons, a Class C infraction in Indiana punishable by a $500 fine.
