Nitwit pulls in front of dashcam owner first in line in the left-hand turn lane, only to hesitate when they finally have space to go.
Rochester-area commuter and Redditor /u/J-Yosuckas shared headshaking dashcam footage from earlier last week (June 25, 2025) to the /r/IdiotsInCars subreddit showing a driver in a Grand Caravan pull in front of them while they were already in the left-hand turn lane with what looks like half their vehicle already in the intersection.

The incident happened at the intersection of Creek St and Empire Blvd in Webster (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)
As OP’s dashcam footage shows, he’s in the left turn lane of the aforementioned intersection already mid-turn.
With a green at an unprotected turn, OP is correctly yielding to traffic with the right of way.
Suddenly, a driver in a red Dodge Grand Caravan appears in front of OP, cutting him off while he’s already in the intersection.
“What the f*** do you think you’re doing?” OP exclaims.
And, when the idiot finally gets some space to turn, they hesitate.
Thankfully, the idiotic and momentarily chaotic moment caused no harm to any driver or their vehicle, all leaving the incident unscathed.
“F***er cut in front of you because why? Impatient? But then doesn’t go when it’s time. Where is the sense of urgency all of a sudden?” the top comment from /u/WhipLash104 reads.
“This is like being stuck by someone going 5 below the speed limit, but then running the red light (not just even a late yellow) because they were too slow to make the green.”

In New York, an improper turn is subject to a $150 base fine with about $100 in additional fees and two points added to your driving record.
This could also be classified as a failure to yield the right of way and an unsafe movement, too.
