Commenters scolded the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu martial artist for not honking, but he reminded them that it would do no good and he needed to practice restraint.

Red Oak Walmart shopper and Redditor /u/shawbjj shared head-shaking dashcam footage from earlier last week (Aug 9, 2025) to the /r/IdiotsInCars subreddit showing a shopper make their partner stop their truck in the middle of a parking aisle in front of the store so she could take her sweet time loading up her groceries, blocking OP and anyone behind him, from moving forward.

Check out the entitled Walmart shopper and her partner pull off their case of privilege at the expense of others below, with the original Reddit thread linked here.

[OC] Too privileged to unload groceries in parking spot
byu/shawbjj inIdiotsInCars

The incident took place at the Walmart off Reese Dr. (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)

As the dashcam footage shows, OP pulls out of his parking space in front of the store only to get stuck behind a driver in a RAM truck blocking the parking aisle.

The RAM driver stopped in such a way that OP could not safely pull around him.

A woman approaches, presumably the driver’s wife, and, for the next minute, she loads her shopping bags from the cart to the truck.

Not once does she hurry or look over to give a wave at OP for inconveniencing them.

And, on top of all that, she leaves her shopping cart in a parking spot, leaving more work for others to deal with.

Here’s their plates, btw, LCD 9976.

One of the most popular comments is why didn’t OP lay on his horn? It’s something that I would do, to which OP replied.

“I thought about it, but what would it accomplish? Goad the dude into getting out of his truck? I carry, and I’m a black belt in BJJ. I drive defensively and try not to escalate anything on the road.”

“Downvoted for being the smartest out of everyone else. It would have accomplished f*** all, and they would’ve still thought they were in the right,” /u/ClippyCantHelp replied.

“Too lazy to even walk a cart to a parking spot. I just know that big a** truck isn’t used for anything other than grocery shopping,” /u/LightningWatcher added.

There is no specific statute outlining fines for obstructing parking aisles in private parking lots, specifically in Red Oak or Ellis County.

It’s, however, extremely rude and opens up the violator to taunts, road rage, and threats, not wise for anyone in gun-toting Texas to do.

These idiots, thankfully, did it in front of someone who’s working on and is aware of practicing restraint.

They, however, may not be so lucky next time.
