The Tesla owner says there was no prior interaction with this road-raging driver.
Maricopa County commuter and Redditor /u/BTooker91 shared headshaking Tesla Cam footage from earlier in September (Sept 23, 2025) to the /r/IdiotsInCars subreddit showing a driver in a GMC Sierra Pickup being absolutely aggressive and road-raging in front of him for no particular reason except maybe he ego was hurt.
Check out the dashcam video below with the original Reddit thread linked here.
[OC] Idiot in a Big White Truck

And here’s a rear-view shot of what happened leading up to the road rage incident.
The incident happened on an HOV Lane of the Loop 101 Freeway in Chandler, just before the exit onto Chandler Blvd and Ray Rd (exact location on Google Maps linked here.)
As the dashcam shows, OP is driving next to an HOV Lane of the 101 when he decides to change lanes into it, a completely legal driving maneuver across a solid white HOV line in Arizona.
But, as his rearview shows, he changes lanes in front of this GMC Sierra (Plate S4A 45T)

The only reason to explain what happened next is that this driver in a GMC Sierra must’ve taken offense at someone changing lanes in front of them because we see them change lanes aggressively in front of OP, almost causing their own rear-end collision.
Perhaps they were set off by a Tesla doing it?
Who knows.
Regardless, it was reckless, dangerous, and unnecessary.
OP changes lanes out and back into the HOV lane to throw the GMC Sierra driver off, which he sort of accomplishes, considering the Sierra driver tries to block OP before OP changes back.
“He’s probably one of those idiots who thinks the HOV lane is the ‘fast lane’ and was mad you got in front of him,” one of the top comments from /u/tryptophantom reads.
“I was going 80 and had a cybertruck in front of me lol,” OP clarified in his reply.
In Arizona, aggressively changing lanes in front of another driver without provocation—especially if it nearly causes a collision—can lead to a charge of aggressive driving under Arizona Revised Statutes § 28-695. This offense is classified as a Class 1 misdemeanor, which is the most serious misdemeanor classification in Arizona.
