A driver in a Honda Accord in Gainesville on SW 52nd St was caught littering a whole bag of fast food out his driver’s door.

Gainesville-area driver and Redditor /u/MarioKcc31 shared headshaking dashcam footage from earlier in March (Mar 30, 2026) to the /r/IdiotsInCars subreddit showing a driver on SW 52nd St. tossing out an entire bag of fast food onto the road.

Check out the dashcam footage embedded below with the original Reddit thread linked here.

The incident happened on SW 52nd St. just before the intersection with SW 20th Ave and near the Circle K gas station (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)

As the dashcam shows, OP is headed northbound on 52nd St. towards the aforementioned intersection.

In front of him is a driver in a silver Honda Accord (Plate FKD N60.)

As their light turns green, the driver in the Accord can be seen opening his driver’s door and tossing out an entire bag of fast food from what looks like McDonald’s or Chick-fil-A before driving off.

Just blatantly littering, no care in the world, or attempting to hide it.

“Why are people like this? Is it really so hard to just throw it in a trash can the next time you stop the car?” the top comment from /u/DarkLogic85 reads.

“I am a firm believer this should be a $10,000 fine, your car impounded, and a week in jail,” /u/SemiAutoAvocado suggested.

“I guarantee there are laws on the books against littering where this happened. The problem is enforcement.” /u/qzdotiovp realistically pointed out.
