Besides “The Smoking Tire” and “Hooniverse”, the podcast that delivers some of the best automotive auditory goodness has to be “Driving While Awesome.” And if you’re an automotive enthusiast based in Northern California, you might’ve run into a DWA sticker every so often, stumbled upon one of their “Cars and Coffee” meets or ran into a line of Porsches on their Coastal Range Rally. Needless to say, DWA throws some great events for anyone within 100ish miles of the Bay Area and Radwood 2017 was no exception. I mean, just look at their logo for the event!
Held on the waterfront in the lovely San Mateo County city of Brisbane, Calif, cars of the 80’s and 90’s traveled from near and far to converge on this secluded Bay area park We arrived pretty late just after 12 p.m. but there were still plenty of cars to point a Nikon at. Radwood 2017 was well worth the drive up and we can’t wait to hit up the next DWA event. Maybe next year we can source a CRX Si.
