This Etsy shop’s car-shaped soaps might make one of the dopest Christmas gifts you can give someone this year.
Are you looking for a stocking stuffer of sorts for that car guy in your life? Boy, do I have the gift for you. Thanks to a referral from some NSX guys on social media earlier today (Dec. 10, 2018) I came across one of the coolest Etsy shops yet, one that makes true to scale car shaped soaps in literally dozens of popular makes and models. I’m talking about such cars like the Tesla Model S, Nissan GT-R, Mazda Miata, Acura Integra, and Honda CR-X just to name a few.

As mentioned, the soaps come in various makes and models and, if you’re shopping for that car enthusiast on your gift list, if you don’t come across a specific model, surely you’ll get a soap with the make they’re a fan of. Makes and models include

@CustomCarSoaps based out of Indiana, Pennsylvania has been on Etsy since 2012 but, as of late, has seen a spike in sales thanks to their selection.
I do have to mention, if you’re like me and got excited that these were full-sized bars of soap, don’t get your hopes up as these soaps are definitely meant for hand washing only. I mean, sure, you could theoretically wash yourself with these but you’d probably only get two uses at best.
As mentioned, they are to scale but 1:43 and 1:64 scale which means they are not coincidentally the same size as Hot Wheels cars. I’ll let you make the mental hop, skip, and jump as to how they made these particular soaps.
Soaps come in packs of four for the smallest size or packs of two for the larger sizes and range in cost between $20-$35. As this is Etsy, you can custom order, mixing and matching as needed. I’m sure you can get a discount if you order, say, a hundred if you’re a larger company or just want something cool to hand out to your friends, family, etc.
So, for the car enthusiast who has everything, here’s one more thing you can gift.
