This is the 2020 Chevrolet TrailBlazer, smaller than an Equinox and Blazer but larger than a Trax.

Earlier this year we got word that Chevrolet was going to revive one of its storied SUV names and confirmed as much thanks to a teaser. Now, it looks like some spy shots of the TrailBlazer have leaked onto the internet thanks to a couple of “spies” with cellphone cameras at the 2019 Shanghai Autoshow which opens later today (or tommorow) depending on where you live. These photos come to us courtesy of Ferd Fan Page off Facebook.

These grainy photos correspond with teaser shots showing those large foglights directly below the main headlights, those tiny slits we’ve come to know and love from Chevrolet.

Not in the shot is the yet to be seen and smaller 2020 Chevrolet Trax.

Taking styling cues from its bigger and slightly sportier crossover cousin, the Blazer, the TrailBlazer looks very much like a three-quarters Blazer.

I fully expect base model Trailblazers to come with NA four cylinders standard with an optional turbocharged engine in premium trim levels.

We’ll have more information when an official press release hits.

What do you think about GM’s newest crossover? Do you think it’s too little too late to appeal to the U.S. Market? Do you think rising gas prices might impede sales of these slightly thirstier options? Let me know what you think in the comments below!
