This Father of the year managed to name his twins after one of America’s greatest tuning arms, Street & Racing Technology A.K.A. SRT.
When you’re the father of twins but also a die-hard Dodge fan, naturally you’re going to find a way to pay homage to one of the Big 3. Enter Garret Torrum and his twins that are now both two years old. According to Garret, he couldn’t actually name them Dodge models like Cherokee or Challenger, instead, he chose to name them after FCA’s official tuning arm by naming one “Sadie” and the other “Rain.”

Yup, this genius of a Dad named his twins SRT in one of the sneakiest ways possible.
Here’s what Garrett had to say in his post on Facebook’s “SRT Hellcat and Demon Group.”
So my fiancé wouldn’t let me name my daughters after anything dodge 😭 so I found a way without her knowing. Sadie Rain Torum… SRT 😂😂 I recently told her about it. Our twins are 2.

Once they hit their “terrible twos” you can call them “Hellcat” and “Demon” 😂😂😂 I had 2 kids so as much as you love them, they will push your buttons some days. At least when they cry that you hurt their feelings, you can point out that you love Hellcats and Demons.
SRT, born from the Dodge Viper, is the tuning arm that gave us such high-performance vehicles like the infamous Dodge Neon SRT-4, Caliber SRT-4, Crossfire SRT-6, Charger SRT-8, and of course, the aforementioned SRT Viper, which, in its most powerful form, came with 645 HP and 600 lb-ft.
Naming kids after cars, is of course, nothing new. In your lifetime you’re sure to come across someone named Porsche or a kid named Bentley.
According to the Huffington Post, there’s a man in the UK who named five of his kids after cars, Mercedes, Bentley, Sapphire, Aston, and, Veyron.
No word if Garett plans to have other kids but rest assured his missus is well aware of his naming conventions and his next kid won’t be named without, at least, raising an eyebrow.
