It’s been a fortnight since James May lost his Pink and Purple Rugby shirt and he’s given up hope on finding it.

James May is one of my favorite people to follow on Twitter so when he tweeted out a photo of his shirt pattern with a funny hashtag, I had to investigate. Apparently Caption Slow lost one of his beloved rugby shirts, hence the hashtag #PAPSRSOD.

Check out his tweets chronicling this sad state of affairs below.

If you didn’t already read about, PAPSRSOD stands for Pink and purple striped (hooped) rugby shirt of doom.

In my search for more information on this important topic, I even came across a Facebook Group dedicated to May’s famous shirt choices. They really have a Facebook group for everything.

I suppose this shirt was one of May’s favorites.

Anyone has that one favorite piece of clothing they own, lost, and subsequently found. It’s a first world problem, really, a lost favorite shirt, but it’s relatable.

Clothes form our identity and our favorite ones hold a lot of sentimental value.

Like many people who lose clothing, 99 percent of the time once we give up, move on, and forget about our lost whatever, we more often than not find them lying around somewhere.

I reckon that’s what’ll happen here.

Hey, May! All is not lost. Just give it some time and I’m sure you’ll run into your Pink and Purple Rugby shirt, eventually.
