If you bought a car at this Georgia dealership on Black Friday weekend, you got another car free.
Buying a whole running, driving, and registered car for $2,500 is already a great deal, but imagine getting another entire car for free! That was a reality for two days at this Athens, Georgia used car dealership this past weekend.
Instant Auto Georgia ran a “Buy one get one free” promotion and it blew the Internet’s minds. Check out their simple yet effective ad below.
Presumably, the cars for $2,500 aren’t all that bad. Judging from the picture, you get your pick of the lot with some real winners like a whole Toyota Sienna, a Mazda Tribute, Plymouth Caravan, and even a pretty rad 90’s Nissan Quest.
All these cars might have some epic mileage on the odometer but they’re guaranteed to drive off the lot.
Good for $2,500, am I right. But then you get a whole other car!
These cars are 20-feet cars, they look good from 20 feet away. Sure, they’ll drive off the lot, but I reckon these free add-on cars are ticking time bombs hanging on to the ragged edge thanks to some 20W-50 oil and zipties galore.
Technically, net worth of both these cars is probably $2,500 and separate they are most likely priced at $2,000 and $500, but the thought of a free car is just good advertising.
The real gems are the comments people left. Here are the funniest ones.
“Comes fully loaded with an ashtray full of Newport menthol butts and a Limp Bizkit CD.“
“How many times have these vans been detailed because of that “stain” that won’t come out?“
“Keys Included? Or do I need to hot wire? Just need to know what tools I need to bring.“
“This is a great deal for that 16-year-olds first two cars, you know they will wreck the first one in no time, anyway.”
No word on how many they sold this past weekend but for a used car page on Facebook, I’m sure they’ve gained a couple thousand fans.
