If you happened to drive by this Mesa, AZ car wash and saw a dentist and his assistants dancing provocatively on a pickup, this is what they were up to. Mesa and Chandler-based Aesthetic Family Dental staff filmed and uploaded a car wash challenge video earlier last month and, with over 7 million views, it’s certified a viral video.

For those not in the know, there’s a funny little challenge going around called the, “Car Wash Challenge” where TikTok users film themselves at self-serve car washes “serving” a quick, choreographed dance routine, using the soapy brushes and high-pressure hoses for dramatic effect, all set to the tune of Ellie Golding’s “Lights.”

It’s all in the name of fun, maximizing slow motion and the mist from the jets of water to kick an otherwise regular dance challenge up another level.

A click on the #carwashchallenge hashtag reveals these Arizona oral hygienists took the cake, making the top of the list for one of the more family-friendly videos with the most views.

Their particular take on the challenge is great, they clearly “understood the assignment,” capturing the vibe of “Lights” without going too over the top.

And, if they wanted a bit of foot traffic coming into their dental offices, if the comments have anything to say about that, this video is working.

“Switching dentists immediately,” TikTok user Ash commented.

“They’ll be scheduling into 2026 now,” Jordan added.

As of this writing, their video’s been viewed, as mentioned, over 7M times and garnered 1.2M likes and 27,000+ comments.

Consider how, even for a budget commercial, you’re going to be spending at least $1,000 for a quick 30 second spot.

This video, shot for free.99, will bring as much, if not more new customers to their offices, compared to a traditional ad spot.

If you’re a business whose employees are doing more cleaning then sales, take a page from these fine gentlemen, maybe carve out a half hour for filming and head to your local car wash.

Don’t forget to bring a fist full of dollars for the change machine.
