One POV shows a TikToker fake offering the wrong doer a ride.
Update 4/23- Update provided by 9 News on what happened to the woman who ran.
An amazing account of unintentional citizen journalism took place when, after a hit-and-run in Westminster, Colorado on April 14, 2023, three TikTok users all filmed the same accident from their point of view and uploaded their videos shortly thereafter.
Naturally, and probably with assistance from TikTok’s algorithm, all three went viral with viewers referencing the other POVs.
The accident happened at the intersection of Sheridan Boulevard and West 80th Ave in Westminster, CO (exact location on Google Maps linked here.)
There are several versions of what exactly happened, but the most plausible explanation comes from @kaayspiracy420.
” (The) lady to the left (Car #1) was taking a left on green. She (Car #2) ran the red light, hit in front of lady on left and then into the front of the truck (Car #3.)”
The first POV comes from @Jhettlynwolfe who filmed the accident and aftermath from the second floor of an orthodontist office. Their video shows, a gray BMW 5-series with damage to its passenger side fender crashed in front of a newer model Chevrolet Silverado in blue.
There’s a third car with extensive front end damage (visible from another POV) just out of frame.

Presumably, the one who caused the accident, a late-teens/early twenties-looking girl in a black Adidas tracksuit, runs from the scene clutching a backpack.
She stops to talk to a woman who offers her a ride but realizes she was only joking.
The second POV comes from the woman who trolled the hit-and-run perp.

“You want a ride? I’ll take you!,” she offers.
“For real? Let’s go, let’s go!” the runner responds.
“I’m just f*****g joking. Why you leaving!”
And, the third POV is from the scene of the accident. A man stopped at the intersection parallel to the accident films the lady in the third car with front end damage ask a witness, “Is she running?”

She then breaks down and cries hearing that yes, the responsible party is running.
We can see the guy in the blue Chevrolet Silverado making a call to 911.
There’s apparently a fourth POV with someone claiming they’ve seen 6 videos, but I couldn’t find them.
“I don’t remember what life was like before TikTok… I can’t ever go back to having only one POV,” @Iratherbeoffroading comments.
“Name ANY other app with an algorithm this accurate. I’m on POV #3,” @Strawberry.road pointed out.
Some TikTokers wondered why she ran when she was caught in 4K from so many angles.
As others have pointed out, it probably had something to do with what was in her bag.
And in an update from 9 News a few days later, it was revealed the had a warrant for a prior hit-and-run crash in 2020!
Thanks to all the videos and help from a witness who actually followed her after the crash, police were able to track her down, arrest and book her for the previous warrant, as well as issue her summons for traffic offenses tied to her most recent hit-and-run.
Police aren’t releasing the identity of the woman just yet but suffice to say, she’s got her comeuppance.
We also learned that one of the victims in her most recent crash suffered a broken arm.
Here’s yet another reminder to get a dashcam and to keep your head on a swivel when driving.
It just takes one clueless driver to ruin your day and, to add insult to injury, not stick around because of choices they’ve made.
Who writes these stories? I’m unsubscribing due to the pure speculative nature of the messages conveyed in so many unprofessional piles of words. If Google is your source, you’re too lazy to get paid for this work!
Update to her. https://www.9news.com/article/news/crime/woman-in-viral-video-running-from-crash-arrested-prior-hit-run-allegation/73-ca69fd39-333a-4139-a19b-888e546c6949
