It’s bad enough they’re going the wrong way, but at least he signaled, right?
Presumed Tar Heel and Redditor /u/CrazyBull07 posted up the head shaking dashcam moment to the /r/IdiotsInCars subreddit showing a driver in Raleigh headed up a one way road in the wrong direction, but having the presence of mind to signal his intentions, regardless.
Check out the hare brained and hilarious moment below.
[OC] Truck driving wrong way still has the courtesy to use their blinker

The incident happened in the 5600 block of Western Blvd at a Mobil Gas Station (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)
As OP’s video shows, he’s headed due East on Western Blvd, a one way road, towards the intersection with Jones Franklin Rd.
And, as this birds eye view of the upcoming road shows, I can imagine drivers not paying attention thinking they can turn left Western Blvd despite signage saying not to.
A driver in a black truck can be seen trying to squeeze his way into the Mobil gas station, obviously going the wrong way.
Hilariously enough, they’re signaling, so, as OP titled, they’re wrong, but courteous about it.
“I love that this happened during the best part of the song,” /u/Rhythm_Morgan commented.
“When someone does something like this, my schedule magically clears, and I have all the time in the word to jackknife myself in front of morons like this until they un**** themselves.,” said /u/appa-ate-momo
“Or you could just let them un**** themselves so that you’re both not blocking the road for everyone else,” /u/onlysoccers**posts replied.
Driving the wrong way in NC is classified as an infraction, punishable with a fine up to $500.
While against the law and not conducive to safe driving, people make mistakes and, as defensive drivers, we’re actively looking far enough ahead to avoid these kinds of drivers and their mental lapses.
This is why it would behoove you to keep your head on a swivel at all times, even on routes you know like the back of your hand.
