This older gentleman in his Ford F-150 was upset that the driver in front of him was taking his time letting pedestrians cross at a crosswalk.
Virginian and Redditor /u/blah-meh-huh shared headshaking dashcam footage to the /r/IdiotsInCars subreddit from earlier last week (Aug 30, 2024) showing a road raging boomer in his Ford F-150 get upset /u/blah-meh-huh stopped for pedestrians, so much so that he swerved around him and confronted him after the fact.

The incident happened near the intersection of Llewellyn Ave and W 20th St. in Norfolk, VA (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)
As the dashcam footage shows, OP stops at the aforementioned intersection to let a couple cross.
OP didn’t have a stop sign so I assume the driver following OP in his Ford F-150 is not used to stopping here.
Regardless, it’s common traffic law knowledge that pedestrians at marked crosswalks have the right of way and motorists must come to a full stop to let them cross.
Before the pedestrians even make it across, the driver behind OP swings wide to the left goes around OP, and overtakes him.
It’s not like he was trying to save time because the boomer comes to a full stop to confront OP.
“Do you not see the people on the crosswalk walking,” OP says to the angered man.”
“Do you see the f***ing people on the cross [unintelligible yapping,]” the boomer replies.
“What are you doing? Why are you getting out of your truck?”
“Why the f*** is your horn blowing at me for?”
“Because there’s people walking?”
“You worry about your f***ing truck.”
“It’s not about the truck. It’s about the people.”
“Don’t worry about my truck, mother f***er, worry about yours.”
“I don’t give a s*** about your truck.”
“Well f*** your truck. Blow me and not your horn.”
“It’s about the people.”
“F*** people, they’ve already passed me, motherf***er.”
That’s where the video ends.
You’d think that was the end, but apparently not.
“The other driver proceeded to follow me for three streets making fella**o motions. Not making this up,” OP comments.
“There have been nurses killed in my city due to impatient a**holes like this guy. After their shift, the employee parking lot is across the street from the hospital with multiple pedestrian crossings. To combat the danger, the city installed flashing crosswalk signs and lowered the speed limit to 20 mph. Doesn’t matter. People still speed through there going 35-40, get pissed when you stop. My wife almost witnessed a nurse get hit similarly. Just too many people in a hurry to get to the next stop light,” /u/Mundane_Advertising somberly shared.

As much as OP thought he knocked sense into that boomer, I’m afraid his efforts were wasted.
It’s easier said than done but it’s best not to engage with these types of road ragers, especially when they get out of their car to confront you.
