This dashcam owner purports this Harley rider was doing burnouts in the rain before this incident.
Floridian and Redditor /u/RighteousMacguffin posted frustrating dashcam footage to the /r/IdiotsInCars subreddit from earlier last weekend (Sept 1, 2024) from Longwood showing the moment a Harley rider inadvertently hit his car, taking off from a stoplight, before riding off as if nothing happened.
Check out the dashcam footage below.
[OC] Idiot on motorcycle was doing burnouts in the rain with a friend

The incident happened at the intersection of US 17-92 and Silkwood Court in Longwood (exact location on Google Maps linked here.)
As his dashcam footage shows, OP’s stopped at the aforementioned intersection with the offending Harley rider next to him, both waiting for their light to turn green.
We can see the Harley Rider inching forward, almost like he’s ready to get a jump on the light.
Suddenly, when their light turns green, the Harley rider veers left and oversteers into OP’s lane.
It’s enough to nick OP’s car, sending the Harley rider careening left and almost falling over.
Thankfully, the Harley Rider regains control.
You’d think he’d stop after hitting someone’s car but instead rides off, his friend on another motorcycle following close behind.
“He did a small scrape on my fender and a nickel-sized dent on the front of my bumper, but nothing terrible thankfully,” /u/RighteousMacguffin replied to a comment.
Keen-eyed Redditors were able to glean license plate information from the video, which led them to the exact VIN of this 2002 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic.

Other Redditors encouraged OP to report this hit-and-run incident to the police and, at least to his insurance, too.
“No helmet, or protective clothing, or proper footwear. Sadly, these are not serious motorcyclists, and won’t be doing this for long,” /u/IranRPCV commented and predicted.
“As a motorcyclist, that is what I would call a f***ing meat crayon,” /u/SignatureIllegible bluntly put it.
As drivers, driving defensively means anticipating the worst kind of behavior from drivers around you.
And, as this video illustrates, it means motorcyclists, too.
