A driver in a mid-2010s Toyota 4Runner was caught on dashcam driving on N Cooper St against traffic.
Presumed Arlingtonian and Redditor /u/LemonCookei posted up bewildering dashcam footage to the /r/IdiotsInCars subreddit showing a driver in a Toyota 4Runner driving on the wrong side of N Cooper St.
Check out their dashcam footage below.
Why was she driving on this side of the road [oc]

The incident happened on the 1000 block of N Cooper St just after the intersection with W Randall Mill Rd. (exact location on Google Maps linked here.)
As OP’s dashcam footage shows, he passes the intersection with W Randol Mill Rd when vehicles in Lanes #1 and #2 suddenly veer out of the way.
We then see a driver in a Toyota 4Runner driving against traffic.
It’s not clear where they entered the wrong side of the street.
As this screenshot shows, my best guess is they turned left from one of these nearby businesses’ driveways highlighted in red.
Thankfully, no one seemed to get hit.
However, it did create a dangerous driving situation.
In Texas, driving on the wrong side of the road is subject to a fine of no less than $200 before fees.
“The real question is, why is everyone moving over for her? Everyone should have stopped so she could turn around or cut into a lot,” /u/Sherman40336 commented.
“Stupid and ignorant or drunk or high or all of the above,” /u/Lunky7711 added.
Wrongway drivers are a danger to other motorists, plain and simple.
DUI is the number one cause of wrong-way drivers.
If you encounter one, the best advice is to move safely out of the way and call 911 ASAP.
Reporting them and getting the authorities involved may save someone else’s life.
