The driver was a woman who left a restaurant drunk moments before, decided to DUI, and damaged multiple cars before she was caught.
SoCal resident and Redditor /u/WolverineFune6472 shared local smartphone footage from Facebook to the /r/MildlyBadDrivers subreddit from earlier this week showing part of the havoc caused by this drunk driving woman who, moments before, left a local restaurant under the influence.
Check out part of her path of destruction caught on camera below.
Destroy a Range Rover

This smartphone footage was captured at the intersection of Camino Del Avion and Bear Brand Road (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)
In the video, we can see a driver in said white Range Rover pausing after what looks like rear-ending a Ford Bronco Sport and what looks like another vehicle behind it.
The driver then proceeds across the intersection, over the sidewalk on the other side, and drives into the empty, undeveloped area.
After spinning her tires and failing to make it up the dirt hill, she gives up, comes back around, and drives off.
She didn’t get far as she was arrested shortly after.
“Just found out the story,” /u/WolverineFun6472 clarifies.
“Witnesses said it was a woman who left a nearby restaurant/bar drunk around 6 pm. Crashed into several parked cars, drove into oncoming traffic, and hit some drivers/cars but no one was hurt. Tried to get away but cops were called and she was arrested.”
“I am guessing that his wife was just awarded the Range Rover in the divorce,” /u/Dear_Basket_8654 added.
“…their tierod broke so they don’t have much steering control…,” /u/ConspicuousRuse pointed out.
Thankfully, it sounds like no one was hurt, although that woman’s insurance is going to have a field day paying out all the claims coming their way.
Hopefully, this woman gets a rude awakening and realizes just how dumb she was.
Most people, myself included, have no sympathy for drunk drivers as their actions can lead to, which they unfortunately often do, fatal consequences.
A DUI for first-time offenders in California is subject to a fine between $390-$1000, getting an ignition interlock device installed for half a year, and attending up to nine months of DUI school.
