A reckless lane changer on N De Anza Blvd took an aborted lane change personally and resorted to road rage in retaliation.
Bay Area resident and Redditor /u/Brandage0 shared headshaking dashcam footage from Cupertino from earlier in November (Nov 20, 2024) showing a reckless lane changer in an Acura MDX resorting to road rage after taking an aborted lane change personally.
Check out his dashcam footage below.

The incident happened in the 10400 block of N De Anza Blvd (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)
As his dashcam footage shows, we first see our road rager in a Silver Acura MDX cut off a driver in a black Ford F-150.
“…The banner above the red SUV at the start says “Safe bike routes to school” because there’s a middle school a block away and this is a major cross street for kids on bikes,” OP points out.
Then, after crossing Mariana Ave, the driver in the MDX changes lanes in front of OP, and then attempts another quick lane change into the left-most lane.
A driver in a dark-colored Honda Accord, perhaps not seeing the MDX, changes lanes right in front of the MDX, aborting their lane change attempt.
The driver in the silver MDX takes this personally, resorts to road rage, and feet from the next intersection, cuts the Accord off.
The driver in the Accord then gets into one of the turn lanes onto Lazaneo Dr before everyone, OP included, comes to a complete stop.
” I looked over at the light (window up, no words, no gestures) and he gave me the finger,” OP clarified.
OP also commented the MDX’s license plate, 5KJL757.
Unsurprisingly, another local Bay Area resident commented this same driver did something similar to him earlier in the year.
“Holy s**t. This was the same d***head who cut me off on de Anza about 3 weeks too!” /u/Herrowg*yboi commented.
“At least they used their turn signal s/,” /u/SnooJokes5038 sarcastically added.
In California, reckless driving is considered a criminal offense and a misdemeanor punishable by a fine between $145-$1000 and up to 90 days in jail.
