An impatient driver in a Corolla chose to go against traffic, almost causing a collision, rather than waiting a couple of seconds.
Savannah commuter and Redditor /u/Holley_Deer shared headshaking dashcam footage from earlier this February (Feb 10, 2025) showing an idiot in their Corolla go against traffic, almost causing an accident, because they were too impatient to wait for a left turner waiting for an opening.

The incident happened near the 12000 block of Largo Dr in front of the Chevron (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)
As the dashcam video shows, OP makes a turn onto Largo Dr from Abercorn.
A driver in a gold Ford Escape in front of him slows to a stop and waits to turn left, looking for an opening in opposing traffic.
An impatient driver in a Toyota Corolla behind OP can’t wait half a second for the Escape to turn and takes matters into his own hands.
The Corolla driver illegally goes over a set of double solid yellow lines and against traffic.
The Escape driver thinks it’s all clear and doesn’t anticipate the Corolla driver’s asinine move and turns at the same time the Corolla approaches.
It’s worth noting the Escape driver is not signaling, something they should’ve done to warn other drivers.
The Corolla driver swerves out of the way, narrowly avoiding getting hit by the Escape.
Thankfully, everyone makes it out unscathed, both the Escape and Corolla drivers probably shaken, a bit worse for the wear.
