Yet another case in point of a bad driver NEVER missing their exit.

Kansas City commuter and Redditor /u/LeftHand_PimpSlap shared headshaking dashcam footage from earlier this week (Mar 20, 2025) to the /r/IdiotsInCars subreddit showing a woman driver in her old Mercedes wagon almost make traffic behind her come to a standstill on US-50 so she didn’t miss her exit.

Check out OP’s dashcam footage embedded below with the original Reddit thread linked here.

The incident happened on US Route 50 in Kansas City, MO at the point where traffic branches off between 435 50 West and the 49 and 71 towards Joplin and Kansas City and 475 North towards Des Moines. (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)

As OP’s dashcam footage shows, he’s driving along US-50 in a lane that eventually branches off with the aforementioned highways.

To his right, he notices a driver in a beige Mercedes wagon driving slowly beginning to make a multi-lane change attempt to not miss their exit.

Not only does she make a multi-lane change, but she ultimately does it over the double solid white lines of a gore point, an area drivers are prohibited from driving through.

Thankfully, she manages to make it across, but not without impeding traffic behind her and causing dangerous driving conditions.

“Flawless execution,” BakeNShake52 sarcastically commented.

“She was a lot closer than the video makes it look,” OP replied.

“A bad driver NEVER misses their exit,” /u/RoyaltyOakie made clear, quoting an oft-quoted maxim for bad drivers.

“MY TURN WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE,” /u/Titansfan9200 humourly added.

Dangerous lane changes like this are arguably careless driving which, in Missouri, is classified as a Class B misdemeanor punishable by fines up to $1,000.
