Police are currently investigating the extreme road rage incident.
Presumed Los Angeleno and Redditor /u/Marcus_The_Sharkus shared a shocking incident from earlier in April (Apr 23, 2025) on the /u/MildlyBadDrivers subreddit showing a driver in a white 2016 Chevrolet Silverado resort to extreme road raging, literally ramming this yellow Toyota sports car, forcing the driver into another lane so they could get around.
Check out the dashcam incident embedded below with the original Reddit thread linked here.
The incident took place in Reseda along Lindley Ave, just as they passed the intersection with Sherman Way (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)
As the dashcam footage shows, OP is stopped before the intersection with Sherman Way in his yellow Toyota MR-2 sports convertible.
Behind them is a driver in a white 2016 Chevrolet Silverado (confirmed with BAR Smog lookup tool) with license plate 03571A2

With his light green, OP accelerates and gets going.
Apparently, and for some odd reason, perhaps triggered by how slow OP accelerated, the driver in the Silverado literally gets bumper to bumper with the MR2 and rams them in a bid to force OP to speed up.
It’s extreme road rage in its purest form.
“Yo! What the f***?,” we can hear OP exclaim as the Silverado driver pushes the MR2 out of the way.
Thankfully, nothing more happened from the incident with the MR2 taking the brunt of the damage, with likely a damaged bumper and who knows what else.
It’s noteworthy that OP isn’t the victim in this incident and appears to be merely posting the dashcam footage on behalf of the actual victims.
OP confirmed the victim pulled over to call police, but, as of their latest update, police have yet to locate the deranged driver, despite having his plates in 4K.
“They took a police report for the truck a few days ago, so it will probably be a while before there’s any further information,” OP confirmed.
“Always an a**hole in a pickup,” /u/Possible_Home6811 added.
“Classic micro-weenie behaviour,” /u/ch4m3le0n agreed.
“Classic tailgating. He’s just gonna have to see my bumper for a while though, cause I’m not moving over,” /u/crasagam replied.
California does not take lightly to road ragers, classifying this type of incident as reckless driving, subject to fines up to $1,000, six months’ license suspension, and enough points to take away an offender’s license for up to a year.
Califofnia courts also classify vehicles as deadly weapons in cases where road rage cause injury or worse.
