This Alfa Romeo driver, for some reason, became so offended after being called out for not stopping that they went on a typical road rage against the other driver.
Local Algoma, Wisconsin commuter and Redditor /u/HelloIAmKelly shared headshaking dashcam video from earlier last week (June 19, 2025) to the /r/RoadCam subreddit showing a driver in an Alfa Romeo Giulia going on one of those typical road rage events after failing to yield to OP as she drove past.
Here’s her dashcam video embedded below with the original Reddit thread linked here.
OP clarified there’s no sound in the video.
“No sound, but only relevant sound you are missing is me honking when they stopped in front of me the first time. The irrelevant sound you are missing is Triviallision- WING very loudly playing and my ugly speaking voice, including some expletives.”
The incident happened at the intersection of Jefferson St. and 6th St. (exact location on Google Maps linked here.)
As the dashcam video shows, OP is driving along Jefferson St. when she comes up to the aforementioned intersection.
A driver in a dark Alfa Romeo Giulia starts to creep forward despite having a stop sign.
Both almost come to a stop, but the Alfa eventually fails to yield and pulls out.
At that point, the Alfa Romeo driver starts road raging while OP does her best to get out of the situation.
“Were they looking for a fight or something? If you can’t see in the video, I went around them when they pulled out a phone to record me and was yelling through the open window.”
Showing no signs of cooling off and, rather, looking to escalate, OP does her best to duck out of the way.
“…when I turned that was not the street I intended to go on, I just wanted to quickly get away from them so they couldn’t further escalate.”
Her intuition and action were warranted as we see the Alfa Romeo driver attempt to cut her off, but at that point, she redirected onto 7th street.
If road rage videos are any indication of what that other driver would’ve done next, they’d likely brake check, continue to yell at, and possibly come out and confront OP, actions that do anyone no good.
“Major props for the avoidance at the end. “Welp, this person is clearly insane, I’m outta here,” the top comment from /u/HarryBallsagna_ reads.
“Smart to turn off and get away from that lunatic clearly trying to beef with you,” /u/Rich_Grab9105 concurred.
“Smart move to evade like that. I’ve had crazy drivers try and escalate before, and they will follow you as much as they can, they will literally skip all of their plans for 10 minutes in some cases just to pester you lol. But I’ve fortunately never seen a driver backtrack the way he would have needed to follow you at that point,” /u/Remarkable_fuel9885 added.
In Wisconsin, road ragers are subject to a fine of up to $200 for first-time offenders before fees.
In addition, driving on the wrong side of the road may get you another fine of up to $300.
What OP did in this situation is textbook how to react to road ragers, try your best not to engage, and, if possible, re-route.
