This Knoxville driver can’t be bothered with red lights so they run two of them, back-to-back.
Knoxville-area driver and Redditor /u/AL13N1NV8D3R shared headshaking dashcam footage from earlier in March (Mar 11, 2026) showing an impatient driver in an Infiniti running two red lights all because they didn’t see traffic coming.

The incident happened as these drivers exited the Northshore Town Center onto Town Center Blvd. and S Northshore Dr. (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)
As the dashcam shows, OP exits the Publix parking lot onto Town Center Blvd.
In front of him is a driver in what looks to be an Infiniti QX80 pausing at the intersection and then just running the red light, probably because they didn’t see traffic coming from either direction.
For the record, this wasn’t a four-way stop.
Then, like clockwork, as they both get to the intersection with Northshore, the Infiniti driver pulls the same move, running a red light, again, because they could.
Thankfully, no drivers or pedestrians with the right of way were affected.
“I guess some people think traffic laws do not apply to them?” the top comment from OP reads.
“I did this once as a teenager while I was distracted talking to my passenger. Stopped at a light and treated it like a four-way stop sign. Good thing it was midnight, and there was no one around! Doing it twice in a row is…impressive?” /u/cckka shared.
In Tennessee, running a red light is typically a traffic signal violation that carries 3 points on your driving record. Fines usually range around $50–$100 per violation before court costs, which often push the total closer to $150–$200 each. Running two red lights back-to-back could therefore mean about 6 points and roughly $300–$400 total in fines and costs.
