This Milwaukee driver couldn’t even keep it between the lines and, when flustered, took an extra-wide Milwaukee Slide to compensate.

Milwaukee County area driver and Redditor /u/Guppy11702 shared headshaking dashcam footage from this busy intersection from earlier in March (Mar 29, 2026) showing a bad driver in a company truck not understanding how to stay in his own turn lane and, when called out, resorting to a Milwaukee Slide as he merged onto the 43.

They were supposedly fired for their poor showing of driving skills on the company clock.

Check out the dashcam footage embedded below with the original Reddit thread linked here.

The incident happened at the intersection of W Locust St. and N 8th St. as drivers merged onto I-43 (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)

As the dashcam shows, OP is pointed westbound on Locust, ready to turn left from one of the two left turn lanes towards 8th and onto the 43.

In front of him and in the leftmost turn lane is a driver in a company truck, a maroon Ram 1500.

For some reason, the guy in the company truck goes straight? They can’t stay in their own turn lane.

OP honks his horn to get the driver’s attention and, thankfully, they react.

Flustered, we then see the driver take the proverbial Milwaukee Slide, swinging wide into OP’s turn lane, once again, before heading towards the 43.

With the company’s info visible, many wondered if OP reported the guy, which he confirms he did.

“Already sent this video to the owner of the company. PSA, if you’re driving a vehicle with your company’s phone # on it, don’t drive like you have 2 brain cells fighting for 3rd place.”

“Text response from owner:

“Woooow, what a f***ing stupid idiot, thanks for letting me know, sir, I will take care of that tonight, and I will fire that f***ing guy.”

“Honestly, I appreciate you. Let me know the world needs more people like you. I feel so sorry for that situation. I really apologize. God bless you, sir.”

OP and many in the comments do concede that the company owner’s response might’ve been sent to placate OP and nothing will actually be done, to which OP responded that,

“(It’s) a possibility, but you gotta hope.”

In Milwaukee, Wisconsin, failing to stay in your lane and turning into another lane or taking a turn too wide is considered a moving violation. The fine can range from $105 to $200, depending on circumstances. This violation typically adds 2 points to your driving record.
