This Infiniti driver was driving too fast for conditions, lost control, and crashed into the side of an innocent dump truck driver.
Miami-area driver and Redditor /u/CarlosMeasuringTape shared headshaking dashcam footage from I-95 from earlier in July (July 25, 2026) to the /r/IdiotsInCars subreddit showing the disastrous results of speeding in the rain.

The incident happened on I-95 right next to Exit 8B onto 103rd St. (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)
As the dashcam shows, OP is headed southbound down I-95 towards downtown Miami.
As shown, it’s raining hard. Miami got up to a 1/4 inch of rain that day.
As such, the speed limit should be a notch below the normal 60 MPH.
Regardless, drivers are moving along at or slightly above the speed limit, especially in the fast lane where it’s business as usual.
A driver in a white Infiniti in the passing lane, too good for conditions, can be seen speeding along, passing cars.
Unsurprisingly, the Infiniti loses traction, begins to hydroplane, and loses all ability to steer.
The Infiniti ends up crashing into the side of a medium-duty dump truck, pit-maneuvering it and totaling his car.
Thankfully for the dump truck driver, it only looks like they spun a good 180 degrees, a result that likely wasn’t injurious.
The same can’t be said for the driver in the Infiniti and his ride; the front end is totally mangled.
OP emergency brakes and he comes to a complete stop, just feet from t-boning them.

“I don’t care that they wreck their own car being stupid, but it always annoys me when they end up involving someone else,” /u/AptoticFox added.
In Miami, a driver cited for speeding that results in a crash can face 6 points on their Florida driving record; lower-level speeding violations generally carry 3 or 4 points depending on how far over the limit the driver was going.
