This goofball didn’t plan to yield before making a turn at all, despite a driver coming fast towards them.
Solano County-area driver and Redditor /u/BloomingBlueMel shared head-shaking dashcam footage from earlier in August (Aug 30, 2026) to the /r/IdiotsInCars subreddit showing a driver pulling off a goofball move by turning, refusing to yield, despite OP clearly fast approaching, coming from the opposite direction.

The incident happened at the T-intersection of Porter Rd. and S Lincoln St (Exact location on Google Maps linked here.)
As the dashcam shows, OP is driving southbound on Porter headed towards Vacaville.
As he approaches the T-intersection with Lincoln, a driver in a white Ford Fusion, hell-bent on making the turn before OP approaches, begins to turn early while OP fast approaches.
Despite committing to the turn less than 20 feet from OP, if no evasive maneuver was taken, OP would’ve crashed head-on with this doofus.
Thankfully, OP makes a last-millisecond emergency maneuver into the oncoming lane, barely avoiding OP by mere inches.
