D’lVal’s a model, globe trekker, and social media influencer thrust into a negative spotlight thanks to an unfortunate Instagram story.
The Formula 1 community was abuzz with gossip, speculating, and disgust after 21-year-old Russian F1 driver Nikita Mazepin posted a video of him jokingly grasping his friend’s chest as she rode in the back seat. Identified as Venezuelan model Andrea D’lVal, they have thrust her into a negative media spotlight, forced to choose a side and clarify how it all went down.
According to the NY Post, earlier yesterday (Dec. 10,2020) D’lVal took to her own Instagram and posted up a brief statement defending Mazepin.
“Hi guys, I just want to let you know Nikita and I have been good friends for a long time and nothing from that video was serious at all!”
“We trust each other so much and this was a silly way of joking between us. I posted this video on his story as an internal joke. I am truly sorry. I can give you my word he’s a really good person and he would never do anything to hurt me or humiliate me.”
Although D’lval’s been mostly quiet about the incident, her recent stories hint at her genuine feelings, mainly it’s none of your business.
D’lVal is a Venezuelan model in her early 20s who hails from said home country but calls Barcelona, Spain her home. D’lVal’s birthday is August 15. In an interview in the latest issue of Salyse, D’lVal claims her mother was a famous designer who introduced her to the world of fashion, modelling, photography, and the lifestyle that surrounds the industry.
D’lVal mentions how modelling has allowed her to work and travel anywhere in the world and her posts reflect that. With 100,000 followers on Instagram, a third of that on Tik Tok and now thousands of new fans added daily thanks to this exposure, she’s not afraid to show off where she’s been.
Although 2020’s been marred by COVID-19, travel brought to a standstill, you wouldn’t know that scrolling through D’lVal’s posts. Fashion stops for no one. D’lVal’s been to Ibiza, Italy, Dubai, London, Madagascar, Los Angeles (tagged,) Mallorca, the Maldives, and France.
Outside of modeling and as evidenced in her social media feeds, D’lVal is a bonafide bibliophile reading dozens of books a year, posting her favorite quotes, and encouraging her followers to dive into a good spine.
“My hobby is writing, poetry, and all my thoughts, that’s my way to release stress and pain.”

D’lVal was unfortunately caught between the crosshairs of Formula 1’s most zealous fans, particularly attacking anyone connected to Mazepin who, as they see, bought his way into an F1 seat.
Honestly, she’s a model living her best life and handed this mess of a hand late in 2020. Although the video’s deplorable, coming from the source, there was no ill intent, and both parties worked out the drama, mainly, there was none.
While I’m sure her DMs are filled with as many supporters as haters, it’s commendable to see how D’lval’s handling it all.
This will all blow over soon, and in 2021 Mazepin will drive while his friend D’lval continues to model.
