LTF productions dropped its latest trailer for its upcoming film Kanjozoku and it’s got the makings of an epic car film that’ll excite any fan of raw driving.

If you’ve been keeping up on the latest trends coming straight from Japan onto imports in the last couple of years, a lot of people are saying that Kanjo style is definitely on the up and up. And according to LTF productions on their latest post on facebook earlier today (Mar. 28, 2017) director Ryoma Yoshimura is set to drop one of the most authentic films on the Civics that lap the Kanjo loop and will hopefully give us a glimpse as to why this lifestyle is so popular overseas. Check out the official trailer below and get ready for your pulse to quicken because ours sure did.

Honestly, the trailer is only fifteen seconds long but it’s enough to wet our appetite for the full length video soon to be released. Right off the bat we can hear the characteristic sound of the high revving motors that these Kanjo Civics have underneath their hoods. B-series if we had to guess. Then the bass drops and we’re treated to the eye candy that is cruising Civics outfitted in characteristic Kanjo style livery. The visual effects, while a bit distracting, are appreciated and hopefully won’t take away from the rest of the film. The soundtrack, for a lack of a better phrase, is bangin’.

If you don’t know what a Kanjo Civic is thankfully Joey Lee of The Chronicles and his friends over at Bowls Films have prepared an 8-minute primer on the subject.  We’ve posted that video below. Basically the Kanjo loop is a littler over 4 mile stretch of highway in Japan that resides close to Suzuka Circuit, a famous race track in Japan still operational today. Back in the early 80’s and late 90’s, many races at Suzuka involved the one make Honda Civic. Thanks to a nimble chassis and high-revving engine, there are still some die hard fans of the golden age Hondas and those one make races. Long gone are the races but dedicated fans of the Civic have continued that one make Civic race out onto the streets, on the Kanjo loop to be specific.

Although technically illegal to run “balls to the walls” on Japan’s highways, it seems the police and Kanjo Civic racers have come to an agreement of sorts. The police’ll pursue them but being caught is a different question. Years of police evading tactics have made their night time runs to be both infamous and downright rebellious.

No word on when LTF Productions will drop their full film but we’ll definitely update you when they do.
