Who knew Kim K was a fan of the wedged shaped cars from Marcello Gandini but here we are.

Who knows why Kim Kardashian posted up a couple of photos of some serious Italian muscle sculpted by famed designer Marcello Gandini. Perhaps she was scrolling through Pinterest under “Sexy Cars” and just liked the way they looked, all edgy and different, something she can’t buy at a dealership.According to Kim K in two Instagram posts from last week apparently she wants both a Lancia Stratos Zero Concept car and a Pink Lamborghini Countach. Check out those two posts for yourself below.

I want this too….

I want…

If Kim K really want that Lancia Stratos Zero HF, she’s out of luck as this one probably won’t go up for sale anytime soon(prove me wrong!) It’s owned by a private collection that lent it to the Petersen Muesum in sunny L.A. There’s a video on youtube of the Stratos Zero Concept firing up and driving into the back of the museum.

The Stratos Zero Concept was the second out of three wedge concepts from Marcello Gandini. The first was the Caribou and the third was the Countach. Did Kim K know they where Gandini designs? Maybe.

The design ethos from Lancia for the Stratos Zero Concept was to see how low to the ground they could build a car. The photo she posted doesn’t do justice to how low this car really is. Thankfully, there’s a Reddit thread floating around showing this car driving on the streets of Italy in real traffic.

And yes, the Stratos Zero is a running prototype. According to RM Sotheby’s when they sold the car to its current owner in 2010, this car has,

“…115 bhp, 1,584 cc narrow-anglee V-4 engine, two twin-choke Solex C42 DDHF carburettors, five-speed gearbox, independent front suspension with coil springs and vertical McPherson telescopic dampers, independent rear suspension with double-wishbones and telescopic dampers, four-wheel disc brakes. Wheelbase: 2,220 mm (87.4″)”

As for that Pink Lamborghini Countach, I don’t know if that particular Countach is for sale but there are literally a dozen that she can buy right now. According to DuPont Registry, if she’s got at least a million in pocket change, she can have the pick of the lot.

You’ve piqued my interest Kim K with your car posts. Are these car posts just a flash in the pan kind of posting or do you really like these rare breeds? Posts a couple more car photos and let us find out!
