Please keep in mind that all dynos are different but on this particular dyno on this particular day in these particular conditions, the 2019 Corvette ZR1 made 668 HP to the wheels.

Just a couple months after GM took the covers off of the Big Daddy of the Corvette lineup, the ZR1, it looks like owners are already taking delivery, and some have even made their way onto a dyno. According to Race Proven Motorsports from their youtube video earlier last week (Mar. 29,2018) one of their clients, a Youtuber, took delivery of a ZR1 and wanted to find out just how much power it makes to the wheels. Leave it up to the Youtuber to drag out a dyno video to 13 minutes long but the dyno shop’s video is almost as long at 11 minutes. We’ve embedded the videos below for you to enjoy but just in case you’re wondering the ZR1 made a whopping 668 WHP and 644 lb-ft.

At just a hair below $120,000, the ZR1 is a supercar killer at that price. The specs from the factory peg the ZR1 to make 755 HP and 715 lb-ft thanks to a larger supercharger and better cooling compared to the Z06. Corvette claims the ZR1 will 60 MPH in 2.85 seconds and will blast down the quarter mile in 10.5 seconds which makes this Corvette a bonafide supercar by definition.

If anything, this dyno video backs up those claims.

A quick look at the dyno graph reveals a couple of noteworthy points. For one, torque is all but flat and always there from the get-go. Torque peters out from 644 lb-ft down to close to 500 lb-ft, but off the line, the ZR1 will be difficult to out-pull.

Once momentum for the ZR1 starts to pick up in the upper-speed range, the horsepower continues to climb to its peak near redline so expect this ZR1 to continue to accelerate and hit its rev limiter sooner unexpectedly. In more words or less, without a speed limiter, this ZR1 will continue to pick up speed.

The owner Mike AKA StreetSpeed717, also happens to own one of the only manual ZR1’s in the country making this dyno pull that much more believable as it’s harder to get a decent pass with an automatic.

The ZR1 is here and ready to dominate on the streets and on the tracks. It would behoove you to check to see what kind of C7 you’re running against if you come up against one in the wild. If you see the ZR1’s spoiler, you better check yourself before you wreck yourself.
